FGBNMS 2015 Research Report
Every year, the research staff of Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary take on a variety of tasks to help us better understand the sanctuary and make sure it remains healthy. These tasks include exploration, monitoring, habitat characterization, and support of outside research organizations. Scuba and ROV operations from R/V MANTA are an important part of all these activities. The 2015 Research Report provides a nice summary of these activities, but you may also want to explore the Science section of our website to learn more in depth information about specific efforts.
NOAA has signed an MOU authorizing an MPA relationship with Cuba, including sister sanctuaries with Florida Keys and Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuaries.
